Dewey-Humboldt runs along the Agua Fria at the quiet end of the tri-city area, where the valley narrows and the old smelter town's history still shows. Senior sessions out here get mesquite bosque, river cottonwoods, and hillsides that catch the last light after Prescott Valley has gone to shade.
It is also a small in-joke for us: before Arizona, we spent years photographing seniors and athletes in Humboldt County, California. Landing next to a town named Humboldt feels about right.
