We built Tex Kelly Productions on California's redwood coast, in Humboldt County, photographing senior sessions on Pacific bluffs and athletes under Friday-night lights. That work fills most of the portfolio on this site, and we are not going to pretend otherwise; the locations are labeled honestly, because the point of a portfolio is what the photographer saw, not where they were standing. Tex's background in competitive sports and entrepreneurship shaped a disciplined, detail-focused approach, whether the frame is a golden-hour senior portrait, the energy of a championship game, or drone footage over the coastline.

The cameras are actually the newer chapter. Before them, Tex spent a decade marketing and growing companies: brand systems, paid-media engines, and campaigns that moved the needle for operators across categories. Businesses that worked with him through the COVID era didn't just survive; many of them thrived, because the fundamentals were sound enough to compound through a moment that broke a lot of less-prepared brands. He also built and owns a custom CRM and lead-management platform that he installs inside his clients' businesses, so every lead gets captured, followed up, and tracked.

When Tex finally bought his first camera, he went straight to producing TV commercials and editorial photography in-house. So every frame you see here is captured by an operator who already knew, from a decade of campaign work, exactly what makes an image land.
